Baby BBQ

Angela hosted a very fun BBQ for us in our backyard. My mom and sister flew out from Florida and did a lot of work getting ready for the BBQ. Check out all the pictures on Picasa. Lots of friends came from close by and all the way from Eastern Oregon! It was so great to see everyone and enjoy a beautiful Oregon summer day. The food was fantastic and the kids had a great time playing in the yard. Thanks everyone!

MDW Camping

We had a great weekend camping out with the Koning's near the McKenzie River. It was very relaxing. We took a hike to see Proxy Falls, soaked in Belknap Hot Springs, and rafted the river.

Week 29

School Shower

Yesterday my school had a shower for us at Jodi Moade's house. Unfortunately, David did not get to make it because of work. But we were certainly showered with some very nice gifts - a pack and play, Bumbo chair, baby toys, bottles, receiving blankets, and a few other things. As always, it was a fiesta theme with yummy nachos and chicken tortilla soup. Plus Sue always makes Sangria for the crowd. And my favorite - chocolate cake with chocolate icing and chocolate filling!

26 weeks - I'm getting bigger!

New things coming blogs way

Hey friends and family. We just got a new computer last night. It's a MacBook Pro and there is quite the learning curve for us. You can tell from our picture last night, that I am very happy to be back online after being off for about a month! And to have such cool new computer capabilities! Yippee! David is out on the river tonight, so I will have lots of time to explore and learn about this new toy! As I sit and play on it, I will start to post pictures and more. I just downloaded Skype, so if you have it you should be able to find us under "edgealley" or "Beth Edgemon and David Alley". Grandmas and Aunties- you need to figure out how to use it along with me so we can visit often and you can watch little Luci grow!

Angela and I headed to Portland today to do a little registering and shopping. It was so nice having Angela there with me. Since she is a recent mom, she knew so much about what we will need and what we could probably skip out on. Thanks Angela! I also bought a couple of things for Luci today. This is the first I have bought any clothes, and boy was it a struggle to contain myself! There are the most darling outfits out there for little ones. I ended up going all green to mix in with the pink we've been getting from the grandmas and the aunties (Leah and Susan). Super cute stuff! Can't wait to put her in all the cute outfits that y'all have sent. Thanks so much!
